New Painting – 1934 LaSalle

Here’s my latest painting – A 1934 LaSalle, 28″x36″, acrylic on canvas.
Title says it all really..
Note the pic is from an untouched photo which shows the paper with warts and wrinkles and all…
I’ve been experimenting with the Art Rage painting software lately. Here’s a quick paintover of an earlier sketch. I’ve never really had any painting tuition so I’m sort of making things up as I go along.

I have added my latest watercolor commission to my gallery. A 1941 Willys 2 Door Coupe. The car is an all steel car and is powered by a Blown 392 Hemi. In the past the car was a X-Gasser and for that reason I have chosen a dragstrip for the background.

Here’s another hot rod and train combination. This is a 28×36 acrylic on canvas and depicts a ’32 Ford coupe beating a pair of Reading Railroad FP7 diesel locomotives through the crossing.
