You are officially invited to participate in the Get Well Greg Experience.

What does that mean?

first read this:

As posted by Jeri Clow elsewhere:

***********************

Many of you know Greg for his legendary work in the Automotive industry. He has been and still remains the inspiration for all automotive artists!

Greg is in the hospital (been in for nearly 4 weeks and will be in for at least a week or more) for some not so fun surgeries.

Please let him know how he is appreciated and that you wish him a speedy recovery by sending him a card (funny ones are best!)

David Gregory Tedder (patient)
Riverside County Regional Medical Center
26520 Cactus Avenue
Moreno Valley, CA 92555

no room number needed

Please do not call him as he needs as much rest as possible. You can email me for updates on his condition at info@motorsportsillustrated.com

now

here's how the Get Well Greg Experience works.

All you have to do is draw his old car known as "Frogger"

It can be a sketch or finished piece or somewhere in between. realistic, cartoon, stick car, whatever. You can draw Greg or not...your choice...there is no wrong here.

This is not a competition so there is no loser either. Just 1 winner...Greg.

I like the idea of semi-informality so drawings can be posted in this thread. Feel free to add a message to Greg if you like. Others are encouraged to comment but since this isn't really a critiqu-able kinda thing if there's something someone has drawn that you feel compelled to correct them on, please send a private message. We'd like to keep this mojo on Greg. Thanks for understanding.

We'll let this run till June 28th if that's cool.

Greg will get the drawings and actually will probably be reading this thread so, that's cool too.

Note: You should not feel obligated to participate. We understand that everyone is busy, so only do what you can.

This post will be put on other places too...The HAMB FAS group, Lat-G, Automotive Artists, Automotive Forums, etc. You are welcome to post it to other auto art sites you hang out, just post a link to it here so we can go there and see the art as well.

I'd like to take a second to thank Scott Seibel for not only doing a drawing before we even knew for sure we'd do this, but for also allowing us to use his art as a logo for the GWG-Experience. beautiful work man. Thank you!

If you have any questions, post up.

There will be another post containing a few more pics of Greg and Frogger.

Thanks for joining the experience. It's great to be a part of this auto art community.

You folks are awesome.
