Rick Spooner
About The Artist:
Rick Spooner grew up in Seattle, Washington where he developed an early interest in drawing and painting.
A graduate of the University of Saint Francis, Rick complete his Bachelor’s degree in Business, with concentrations in Marketing and Illustration. He has continued his love for art with the development of self-published prints, which he sells online and to local art galleries. He enjoys pen & ink drawings, acrylic paints, and soft pastels.
A variety of subjects can be seen in his portfolio, ranging from locomotives, children, and birds. His favorite subject is classic cars, stemming from his father’s occupation as a car mechanic and painter.
Many of Rick’s car and train art prints have been featured in several museum gift shops, including:
- Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana
- National Automotive and Truck Museum of the United States (NATMUS) in Auburn, IN
- Kentucky Railway Museum in New Haven, Kentucky
- Fort Wayne Historical Railway Society in New Haven, Indiana.
