Rob Ijbema
About The Artist:
Dutchman Rob Ijbema came to England, the home of motor racing in 1988.
There he was building models for the good and great in racing from formula ford to f1, from Eddie Irvine to Frank Williams. After 10 years it was time for another challenge, now the cars are captured in paint in 2d instead of 3d.
Rob is not afraid to paint outside the lines. The point is the speed, the emotion and the movement, not the counting of rivets. Detail slows the paint.
