About The Artist:
I blame my Nana for this! She started it all, with a ‘Matchbox’ or ‘Hot Wheels’ car every week while I was growing up……

Some design tuition along the way lead to a love of non-theoretical representational art and most everything loosely termed ‘Mid-Century’.

Blending and juxtaposing these beautiful shapes, textures and colours together with the almost limitless array of wonderful automotive forms that have been created in the past 100 years or so is where I’m at now.

I’M STILL TRYING TO CREATE THE PERFECT COLLISION!

Alicia Hanson is an architectural graphic designer turned jewelry designer.

She loves creating with her husband Brad.

About The Artist:
Growing up on Long Island I was indoctrinated into the world of automobiles by my father Casey. He was an avid sports car enthusiast and would routinely employ my brothers and I to get our hands dirty and help him with his next automotive project. Early on I developed a passion for these cars, which I expressed through my first real drawings at about 12 years old. I was hooked! I began drawing everything and turned to painting at about age sixteen.

After high school I received a scholarship to Syracuse University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1974. A few years later I headed west, settling in Boulder Colorado where I started to restore vintage sports cars. Along with cars I gained an appreciation and passion for Motorcycles. I’ve owned many wonderful motorcycles over the years, crossing this country many times, from sea to shining sea.

For the past twelve years I’ve been living just west of Denver in Evergreen, a very picturesque small mountain town where I get to paint my passion. Many of my automotive paintings are on display at the beautiful LeMay Automotive Museum in Lakewood, Colorado.

At this time I continue to refine and sharpen my skills as a painter of these beloved icons, producing only original acrylic works to satisfy a market that wants something totally singular and unique. Most of my paintings are also rather large, my favorite size being about 36×48 inches, a size that lends itself to the grandeur of my subjects. They will last virtually forever and will brighten, enhance, stimulate and cause a sensation wherever they are.

Commissions gladly accepted

About The Artist:
I specialize in car and truck art mostly, however I draw pretty much any kind of vehicle. I use pen, pencil, markers, colored pencil and a little bit of paint. I’ve been drawing since I can remember. I started drawin car’s at about 5 or 6.

most of the work I do is for people who have a car or truck they own. They often display the artwork at show’s along with their car. I draw freehand and was often asked by teacher’s in school to draw pictures of their cars. Although it didn’t help my grade’s much it was still fun to do just the same.

I have had several different carrier’s over the year’s from truck driver to telecommunication’s technician in the phone business. My website features mostly recent work and I will be adding more work for display as they are completed.

About The Artist:
It seems I was born with brush in hand, Ive been doing some form of art since a child, sculpting and drawing came first with an artist grandmother for influence, as an adult attending the Kansas City Art Institute and State Fair Community College art program I perfected painting. Anything with speed has long been the passion that gave me fuel, so painting Motorcycles and automobiles came naturally. I have always seen the world from a different perspective and strive to reveal that insight in my work. Giclee’s are available of most of my paintings, custom commissions are also available.

About The Artist:
Matt Bernal was raised in the southern California, Huntington Beach to be exact, where the so cal car culture lifestyle was inescapable . Becoming serious about the industry in high school where he won the STAR award for automotive technology, Matt began working for Wings West in Newport Beach, CA. It was at Wings West where he discovered this lifestyle can be a career and not just a hobby. Inspired by a visit with Chip Foose Matt began attending Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Art Center taught him that his talents were not silly time wasters but serious talents that few have. Inspired and driven by entrepenuers , fabricators and designers like Thom Taylor, Steve Stanford, Jesse James and Chip Foose , Matt began freelancing as an automotive designer for the aftermarket industry. Matt was picked up by Saleen Performance in 2003. For the 5 years at Saleen, Matt supervised the production of the S281 Ford Mustangs , Focus , 331 F-150 and managed production and quality control of the limited addition Parnelli Jones Mustang.

Inspired to hone his fabrication skills Matt left Saleen for Gaffoglio Family Metal Crafters. That name may not mean much too many, but, enthusiasts would know that Metal Crafters have been building concept cars for major auto manufactures for close to 25 years. While at Metal Crafters Matt had a hand in the builds of concept cars for Nissan, Dodge , Jeep and the Concept Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

After spending some time in custom shops like Shoreline Motoring and Chicane Sport Tuning Matt was asked to participate with a team of outstanding fabricators to build the very first pre-production Fisker Karma and Karma S. While at Fisker Matt had a chance to rub shoulders with cream of the crop European designers like Henrick Fisker.

Most recently Matt completed a build for Suzuki of the DELTA TUNE Suzuki Kizashi , voted one of the top 10 cars of SEMA 2009 by cargurus.com.

About The Artist:
James Etheridge is an accomplished digital artist with a completely unique and original style. He has blended his lifelong love of automobiles with knowledge and techniques gleaned from over twenty years of experience in the digital art arena. He has developed a truly original and dynamic style which brings out the beauty, power and mystique of these incredible machines.

“I like to select an area that best shows the character and personality of the car”, says James. “It works so much better visually than trying to capture the entire vehicle.”
These stunningly beautiful paintings are unique in that they are created entirely in Adobe Photoshop. These are not photographs enhanced with filters or effects, but actual digital paintings containing 300 to 400 layers, printed on HP Premium Plus Photo and Proofing Gloss paper.

Bio
James Etheridge is a Georgia artist who has been drawing and painting all his life. He has worked in the Graphic Design field since 1978, winning several Printing Industry Association of Georgia Award of Excellence serveral times. In addition to his digital art, he is also an accomplished watercolor artist. He enjoys painting a variety of subject, in particular the beauty and nature of his native Georgia.
About The Artist:
Few people in life get the chance to combine three passions into one. Jim Sansovich has gotten that opportunity and what you see here on these pages is the result. Jim has been an award winning illustrator doing illustrations for Fortune 500 companies such as Warner Bros. Universal Studios, and General Mills. Later Jim turned his attention to Photography and his unique photo collages have appeared in, and on the cover of several automotive magazines including Vette, Shark Quarterly, and Corvette Fever. Several pieces have ended up in museum collections. Jim has photographed millions of dollars worth of Chevrolet Corvettes, General Motors concept cars, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Classic Cars, and Harley Davidsons.

Jim has been a lifelong motorhead since he was a kid living across the street from a NHRA Top Fuel Dragster car owner. Jim got to sit in a number of drag racing cars that would often be at the home, and dreamed of screaming down the quarter mile. When finally old enough Jim got to own some of the cars he dreamed about as a kid including several Pontiac Firebirds, and Chevrolet Corvettes.

Now Jim has combined his love for anything that has a motor with photography, and illustration. These images start out as photographs Jim has taken at a variety of car shows. The images are then digitally re-painted in several programs resulting in a melding of illustration and photography. The final image has a look and feel that can’t be found in just one of those disciplines.

Images are available as fine art Giclee prints on acid free paper. Images are available framed and unframed. Unframed prints are 17 X 22.
