About The Artist:
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Art in Commercial Art. My works are in several galleries in Texas, as well as in private collections throughout the USA.

I retired from the corporate world in 2011 and decided to rekindle my passion for art. Having painted with acrylics in the sixties as an abstract artist, I decided that I would resume the utilization of acrylics but become a representational artist. I create art based on country living, and transportation. As a child and teenager, I was always drawing cars, and an old friend who is a successful artist suggested that I go back to cars after I had included one in one of my landscapes.

My passion for creating art is almost an obsession, and I paint every day. I do not create photo realism, but rather images as you might see in your mind after gazing upon a subject for a long time. My art is a representation of the memorable features of a subject or event. All of my art is done with a brush; no mechanical devises are used in my paintings.
