David Oxton – Begg FM5
My latest NZ racer. Another NZ great. George Begg manufactured the Begg F5000 cars in a tin shed in the South Island of New Zealand. This FM5 was taken to England in 1974 and both it and David Oxton acquitted themselves very well.
A simple Black and White study in pencil.

New Artwork – Legendary NZ racer “Red” Dawson
I have just completed a duo of cars raced by the legendary NZ racer “Red” Dawson
Red raced the Camaro first and the image is from my personal photo taken “in the day”.
He then moved on to the Monza but unfortunately rolled it at Manfeild seriously injuring himself and duly retired.

In this painting Mike Hawthorn’s 3-litre Ferrari disembarks from a KLM plane on its way to the Dundrod Tourist Trophy races in 1954. Hawthorn drove on top form at the race and took second place with the fastest lap time of 92.38 mph.

New Artwork – 70’s Harley Davidson
April 15, 18 x 13″ on vintage canson, the bike needs turn signals so was in hurry to paint before they go on.
