About The Artist:
Barry Hunter is a motorsport art specialist dealing under the name of Barry Hunter Motor Sport Art and he paints mainly car or wheels related subjects, but also undertakes general art work.

He is a member of the The Fine Art Trade Guild and The Guild of Motoring Artists which promotes high standards in Motoring art and exhibits widely in the UK, with members across the world. He is on the Guild’s organising committee and is currently the Guild’s co-ordinator.

Barry regularly exhibits with the Guild and has shown his work at the Donington Park Racing Car Collection, The Ayrton Senna Memorial Dinner, Gaydon National Heritage Motor Museum, Coventry Transport Museum and the Alex Reade Motor Sport Gallery in central London.

Barry’s pictures have featured on greetings cards for Gibson Greetings, Image Source, Noel Tatt and Wenlock Edge and he has also had his images featured as phone wallpaper with Boungiorno. His work has also been hung in a number of offices as part of a number of art-rental schemes.

He regularly exhibits at local art shows in the Bucks, Berks and Oxfordshire area and usually participates in Bucks and Oxford Artweeks and at Wycombe Swan theatre in High Wycombe.

Barry’s commissioned work has included corporate work for Jaguar/Stewart Grand Prix sponsor MCI World Com, FIAT UK, BMW Cowley, the Murray Walker tribute “Trousers-on-fire”, the San Francisco based Clyde Bay Trading Company and Jenkins & Davies Steelwork. He has also completed many private motor sport and non-motoring commissions.

Barry’s work can be found on a range of specialist internet web-sites and directories. He has had his work¬† auctioned through a number of charities to raise money for good causes, including The BEN Motor Industry Motorsport Auction at Brooklands and the Kings Sutton Motorsport Tsunami Appeal.

Barry is an accredited Press Photographer at Silverstone circuit and meets many of the Formula One drivers there as part of his duties and he sells driver-signed prints. He has demonstrated at Art Groups, given talks on Motorsport Art and been interviewed on BBC Radio Oxford and been interviewed on the BBC Oxford Six Business TV programme.
