Torino – My Latest Commission!

My latest commission!

brett-young-torino

This took 10 evenings of about three quarters on an hour each evening. It is done entirely in coloured pencil (Faber Castell Polychromos mainly) and was a very difficult colour to match. But I love the wheels.

CarArt.us News – The Jack Vettriano Gallery

CAR ART, INC. is pleased to introduce the automotive art of Scotland’s most successful artist, Jack Vettriano.

car-art-news

There can be few people unfamiliar with The Singing Butler by Jack Vettriano.
This charming painting by the self-taught Scotsman has sold a staggering six million prints worldwide. It is more popular than Monet’s Water Lillies or Van Gogh’s Sunflowers — astonishing for a man who was previously a coal mining engineer.

Find out more about on their “What’s New” page.

Nicolas Hunziker Newsletter

Dear friends,
Welcome to the 11th issue of my Newsletter. 2009 does not seem to let up and the projects just keep piling on. It’s not a complaint, just a mere observation, as I’m very grateful for all the work that is coming my way. Like a lot of creatives, I tend to function better when working on simultaneous projects. We have a lot to cover in this issue so I suggest we get right to it.

I hope you enjoy reading about these subjects.

Jim Richards Falcon Sprint

jim-richards

I recently went to the Australian Muscle Car Masters race meeting and met the famous race driver Jim Richards who kindly signed some originals of his cars I had done. While leaning on his current historic racer he asked if I could do it! Woohoo, a commission!.. so I did!

Its a Falcon Sprint and races in the local Aussie Biante Touring car masters races.

New Artwork – 1939 LaSalle

bentley39

I just completed this colored pencil painting for a client of his 1939 LaSalle. I photographed the car at a show in Washington D.C. we were both attending. However, I chose to feature the car in front of an old wood and stone barn located near my Pennsylvania home.
