About The Artist:
I have been creating watercolor paintings since 1973 in an effort to
make my art a totally unique visual experience.   My image series is
based on the advertising sign painted on brick walls, sometimes with a
diversion toward storefronts, plate glass window reflections, and
classic automotive subjects parked in front of those buildings.  My
purpose is to establish a very structured yet abstract composition of
my photorealistic subjects.  I want the viewer to relate to the
intrigue and mystery that I see and the interesting patterns of their
repetition and textures.

I personally create each entire painting by hand without the aid of a
computer, traced photography, or a studio assistant.  The ideas for my
images are formulated through a series of preliminary sketches and
finished drawings.
