About The Artist:
Being a resident of Motown I have always had a passion for cars. But I never was a huge fan of the old Detroit iron, instead I preferred the light nimble British and European cars. The first car I bought was a cool little Red Triumph TR-4 sportscar, and over time I have owned several performance sportscars including Lotus Europa. I have come to appreciate the new breed of performance cars coming out of Detroit and now in fact own and race a v-8 Mustang in SCCA Solo and track events.
My interest in art comes from a traditional background but it became obvious to me early on in my career in Graphic Design and Illustration that digital skills were going to be a necessity. I have since made it a goal of mine to meld traditional painting and drawing skills with computer tools and to take digital art beyond the typical filtered photos to the realm of real fine art. Many people are amazed when they see some of my automotive and non-automotive prints that the image is completely digital.
With that said I still will on occasion pull out the box of oil paints to keep in practice.
