About The Artist:
I grew up in a non-automotive, non-artistic family, and somehow I was bitten with both bugs. I’ve always loved trucks, and discovered I had a fair hand for rendering them. I focus mostly on “diesel portraits,” as diesel pickups are my passion, as well as classic/vintage models. I mostly render in marker, though white charcoal and colored pencil find their way onto the paper at times. I am also an avid opposer of the use of black.
When I’m not working on the trucks, I’m usually trail-hunting/sight-seeing in southern Arizona, or catching up on sci-fi and fantasy novels. I’m the Vice President for the Arizona Cummins Diesel Crew, originating from the Cummins Forum, and I attend every diesel event I can drive to, as well as help put together local chapter events. I love the smoke and rumble of the diesel, and the carburettor engines (the rumble…they better not be smoking!).
My art has been featured on the cover of Issue 61 of the Turbo Diesel Register, a Cummins technical magazine.
