New Artwork – Bruce McLaren Multimedia

bruce-mclaren

Latest NZ oriented artwork from me.

Bruce McLaren in his M14 at Monaco 1970.

The car is coloured pencil but the background and black foreground is acrylic paint.

Note that the pic is a digital photo of the work and thus not 100% representative. (the paper is still slightly wavy!) I look forward to the scan and resulting giclee print.

Roger Lusty – New Watercolor Painting

lesson-number-one

I have added a new Watercolor Painting to my Gallery, titled – OLD SCHOOL “Lesson Number One”.  The painting depicts a 50’s Merc and a Ford Model A Roadster Pick-up racing on a country road. The cars were recently built, although they appear to be right out of the 50’s.

New Artwork – Custom Made Bike

scouts-art

I love the artistry of a custom made bike. I think the personality, as well as the spirit of a person is wonderful to experience through their own form of artwork. Scout Underwood, formerly of Baker Drivetrain, is one of those artist. I hope you all enjoy looking at his bike.

Steven Cavalieri – “Racing Colours” Book Series

sc-racing-red

Read the book review for “Italian Racing Red Book” on Veloce Today!

On sale now, my automotive illustrations are featured in the new British book series named “Racing Colours” in which I produced event specific, historic automotive profile illustrations. Many hours went into the research and creation of these illustrations. Race cars were often configured very differently from event to event. We worked hard to make each illustration an accurate visual representation.

sc-racing-silver

So far I have produced illustrations for Italian Racing Red, German Racing Silver, and French Racing Blue. Hopefully there will be many more titles to come.

Here are the covers that shoe my work. Italian Racing Red is available now with the French Racing Blue and German Racing Silver available in June at Amazon.com, Borders.com, and other fine book sellers.

June 11-14, I’ll be at the Hotlanta Collector Experience in Atlanta GA. Most likely I’ll be travelling with the model maker responsible for most of the Muscle Machines range and we’ll be bringing in the Muscle Machines quarter scale Willys so if you’re attending come over and say G’Day. It’ll be good to meet people and chat about diecast, Muscle Machines and cars in general.
