“Connection” is a commissioned piece from MDA’s and Harley Davidson’s “Black and Blue Ball” This event raises money to be used to help children and their families effected by the challenges of this disease. Jeff and his son Philip seemed to me to share such a connection, you can see the man Philip is becoming, and how proud Jeff is of his son. I understand Jeff has given the painting to Philip…he has to wait for the bike. My thanks to both of them. Dixie Olin@artforbikers.com

This month we present a Marvel-ous artist with Royal fans! And announce a new association with a World Class automotive retailer…
Julie sent in new information for her “About The Artist” section, plus she sent in new artwork images.
I had posted images of the custom Nano artwork I did earlier in my Flickr account and someone commented that they were planning on buying one and was curious to see how the custom black/orange version would look in sunshine yellow instead of the orange. Sunshine yellow is one of the Nano’s factory colors. Find out more about this artwork on my blog.
Hi,
The painting I am sending is called “Classic White”. It was a commissioned work and I always try to make the paintings more than just a bike. The couple who own the bike have a beautifully blended family, their two son’s, now brother’s helped me get the bike out to photo. They were so funny together. I was struck by how close they were, a very rich family. With that in mind, the brother’s are reflected in the chrome of their parent’s bike.
Thank you,
Dixie Olin
