Happy Holidays 2012 – Porsche 911 Snow Dance
“Porsche 911 Snow Dance” is the newest of my painting films. It’s just quick way to wish you all the best for the Holiday Season.
Special thanks go to Heather Norwood who directed this and all my previous painting films.
These latest original Porsche paintings are the result of a collaboration with the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. Some of the subject matters may be familiar to you. I was also very happy to explore some lesser known territory, such as the Porsche 356 Cabriolet which was driven by Fürst von Metternich at the 1952 Carrera Panamericana. Perhaps another lesser known area in the history of Porsche racing are the ‘Flugplatzrennen’ (airport races) of the 1960s; complete with hay bales that served to outline the racing track. I was also keen to feature the Porsche 911R which represented the first racing win for the semi-automatic Sportomatic gearbox.
All the original paintings are officially licensed by Porsche AG. For larger views and to see more original Porsche paintings, please click here.
