Mazda Wins Le Mans Watercolour by Ray Toombs
It’s been a while, hope you find the wait worthwhile. It has been 20 years since Mazda won Le Mans in 1991, to this day still the only Japanese car to have done so. Incredible, but true. They have tried, but just can’t do so. Anyone who remembers the car will never forget the noise of the rotary motor, if I’m hard of hearing today that car probably had something to do with it!!!
Enjoy. If you are at Le Mans in the next couple of weeks you can see my work in the main ACO shop at the circuit entrance, I myself will be in the ACO members enclosure by the Dunlop bridge from Wednesday evening thru Sunday race finish. Hoping to do something with Toyota, come and see what!
