Wild Honey

This is one of the cars that got me interested in Hot rods in the sixties. It was built by Roger Devlin and was at the time the wildest thing around. The old photos from magazines that a lot of people posted on the H.A.M.B. site, enabled me to try and recreate it on canvas. Keke Rosberg’s 1977 F Pacific Chevron

Keke is of course father to young Nico who is doing so well in F1 these days but back in 1977 Keke was the man. He came out to the Atipodes twice and cleaned up (in 77 and 78). This is his winning 1977 Chevron B.34 in a super drift on full oppy lock round a right hander. Brett Young »
